MEET OUR BLUME BABES!
KATIE FISHER & ALLISON HUFFMAN
Katie and Ally are licensed estheticians and have a combined 20 years of experience and training that set them apart.
When asked about how she got here, Katie said,” I've lived in this area my whole life, and the older I get, the more I appreciate our town and its people. I’m married to my high school sweetheart, and we have two precious children. We enjoy spending time together as a family and are active in our church.
I went to school for esthetics for makeup and fell in love with the entire industry. I got into waxing which led to specializing in the art of brow shaping, I then added lash services to my belt and now specialize in brows and lash lifts.”
Ally grew up in Conover and moved around a little after high school. She met her husband and moved back to her roots. They have a beautiful, spunky little girl and love to travel and spend time with friends and family. She said, “I went to esthetics school after high school and have worked in day spas, medical spas, and brow bars, but I found my calling when I started working in permanent makeup!”
They worked together right after high school, but reconnected when they both worked at a salon in Mooresville. They worked so well together and were often referred to as the dream team by their clients, that they decided to open Blume together in Downtown Hickory! November 2021, they move to their new location on Union Square, expanded their brow and lash bar, added another facial room and a “beauty boutique!”

We opened Blume because there wasn't a specialized brow and lash bar in the area. Since opening in 2019, we have tripled our size and expanded our esthetics department. Each of us specialize in what we do. You won't see one of our service providers that "does it all." We all have our special niche and take pride in offering quality services. We have such a great team of girls working with us who love what they do!
We love what we do, and we love our clients. Nothing makes us happier than empowering other women and helping them enhance their natural beauty. The way they radiate joy and beauty walking out the door is why we keep doing what we do. We have put blood, sweat, tears, and many prayers into our vision. We couldn't do what we do without the support of our husbands, family members, friends, employees, clients, and most importantly, God. We’re excited about all of the growth that we’ve had and plan to continue growing!
